Shane is on our 2nd pairing.
The Hejda-Barrie is our first pairing. Too bad that they really aren't much better than O'Brien.
Palushaj has also played on Stastny's wing and Hejduk with Mitchell so those two can interchange a bit.

I want nothing more to see an offensive explosion. Please for the love of Odin, start lighting it up! That said I'm predicting a low scoring affair.

I guess that depends on how one interprets .500 (w/l or points).

Here's hoping for an Oilers win.* But, I really hate that both Whitney and Smyth are playing... and the subsequent lines and pairings.

(*Until they sort out the 'issue' of winning draws in the offensive zone, I don't take any win for granted - poor defense on the opposing team, or not.)

Don't understand why MPS gets scratched and Yak is on the 3rd line. He needs to be given the green light on a top 6 role as he's just being too passive and trying to hard to not be a shell fish.

Dubnyk starts. 15-19, 5-45, 6-2 are your defense pairings.

Hey friends, does anyone know of a bar in Waikiki that would show the game?

Vcash on the Oilers tonight. If we can't defeat Colorado I'm throwing in the towel for awhile.

Assuming those are going to be the lines, I can understand demoting Yak since he's been making some bad plays in the defensive zone (to be fair, he has made a lot of good ones too) so he'll get some extra coverage on that line. Scratching Maggie is just puzzling to me though. He's really started to come around this season

4-2 Oilers
3 Goals by the 4-93-14 line
1 Goal from the 89-83 pair

Whitney better get it together. All lockout the guy is on twitter talking the talk, lets see him back it up because I'm beginning to think he owes Katz a refund.

It seems Smyth and Whitney complained loud enough...

If the Oilers play the same game they played vs. Dallas, I could see this being a game where they finally put up some goals. I'm in a good mood for once, so I'm gonna say Oilers win this 6-1.

Yeah what a bunch of whiney self-entitled vets. We had arguably our best team game and we should roll with that same lineup and strategy but noooooo these useless plugs get back in for no reason.

Well Whitney was playing regardless. I'm fine with Smyth being in the lineup, but I don't see why CVV and Eager are in the lineup over PRV

I have a feeling that Ryan Whitney will actually have a solid hockey game. Where he finishes with 0-0-0. Rather than 0-0-(-2)

My advice after trying to find NHL is to find out what network carries the game and to call the bars/pubs and ask if they carry the network like "Score" or Espn2. No point calling and asking them if they show the Oilers game lol

If it were up to me, Smyth would be sitting and both Eager and Paajarvi playing.

I am not a huge fan of the game-to-game line blending... set the lines and let them play and develop. In one game and out the next cannot do much for the player, nor for the line/pairing, nor the team dynamic.

True, but we have been dealing with injuries. If Horcoff and Jones were OK, we probably wouldn't be seeing this much juggling

At this point, I'll take it (and I was one of Whitney's biggest supporters)

This is a must win if Whitney and Smyth want to play on this team.
