No thanks. Not even about value. Chicago's not trading Kane.

Krejci is Boston's best forward this season

Krejci doesn't have any Conn Smythe's either. Great point though.

The 1st means nothing to Chicago, who are contending now and Chicago has one of the best prospect pools in the NHL. So, since Hamilton's off the table, what's the incentive for Chicago?

Same problem with the Rangers/Bruins thread. Bruins and Hawks are not compatible trading partners as both are Cup contenders in the present. Even then, terrible value for the Hawks as that B's 1st rounder will practically be a 2nd rounder.

that's brutal for Chicago. Major step down from Kane to Krejci and that late 1st and prospect will really help us win the Cup this or next year

and if anything. You want Kane, be sure that Hamilton would be part of the deal

By this reasoning, Claude Lemieux is better than Cam Neely

Not really, since Krejci doesn't have a Conn Smythe either.

I think something could be done around this premise but not near that much headed to Chicago, Kane for Krejci, Spooner and a low pick seems fair to me.

As a Blackhawks fans, Krejci is one of my favourite players... but there is no way I would do this.

Why? Why would you "lol" at something you clearly know next to nothing about? Give your head a shake.
