Read the previous 10-15 posts, some of which were discussing him...

Thank you. Phone allows me to see the current page and that's it, otherwise it gets stuck on an infinite loading loop.

And even if he does get claimed, so what? Is he really part of the Sabres plans next season? I hope not. This was the Amerks captain for over half a season, I don't see how it's even a question.

Porter is not on waivers, so he will not be back with the Amerks at any point this year.

Are you sure there isn't one more day?

Almost positive. Playoff rosters are due tomorrow, Porter would have needed to clear at noon tomorrow to be on that roster.

You're right, he needed to be put on waivers today at noon, didn't happen.

It's not that he doesn't have a willingness to be physical, it's that he's skinny as hell because he hasn't filled out yet.

Maybe - I haven't seen him without pads. Doesn't seem to be affecting him on the ice by any means.

If thats the case then why do his coaches, management and some teammates talk about him already having a man's body and strength.

I recall plenty of occasions when he'd initiate a hit and end up on the wrong end of it.

Maybe he does have man strength, but he certainly doesn't look that big out there right now.
It's not surprising, considering most guys will fill out later than 18.

Have to wonder if this is an indication that Hodgson will be back in Rochester for the playoffs. Obviously, both would be better than just one, but Hodgson would help. Also, Grigs may be done in the Q by then--have we ever straightened out whether he can come to Rochester after Quebec?

I doubt Hodgson gets sent down either. Just a gut feeling with how Regier operates. Grigorenko can and will come to Rochester if Quebec is eliminated before Rochester.

Any word if this happened or not?
Nevermind. You already posted. Sorry

Well, maybe Logan Nelson gets an ATO with Victoria being eliminated.

Sorry, forgot about waivers. So they have an extra day with Foligno and Hodgson and Flynn.

Yes and the deadline for AHL deals is April 10th. But we can already assume Regier will not be active with that.

I think Kevin O said that AHL trades can be done until the 10th, but any players in the NHL right now need to be sent down tomorrow before the trade deadline to be eligible for the AHL playoffs. Would be nice if there was a memo from the AHL or something definitively explaining the rules this year, seems like a mess.
