Don't see how you can't vote the Sens here. I know upsets happen, but I really feel that the Panthers only made the playoffs for lack of a better option. I don't see a situation where they can compete with the line-up Ottawa brings to the table. Three lines with legitimate scoring capability as well as size and toughness with two way ability. Honestly Greening - O'Reilly - Iginla might be one of the toughest lines to play against period. Then a 4th line that can be brought in for energy and really squeezing the opposition. From the back-end you have the two best defencemen in the world, and a goalie backstopping them that has been putting up some ridiculous numbers and just entering his prime -- with a proven record of elevating his play in the playoffs.

This would be a 4 game sweep.

Quote:

Milan Michalek - Jason Spezza - Kyle Turris
Colin Greening - Ryan O'Reilly - Jarome Iginla
Peter Regin - Zack Smith - Daniel Alfredsson
Erik Condra - Jim O'Brien - Chris Neil

Depth: David Dziurzynski, Kaspars Daugavins, Stephane Da Costa, Mark Stone, Mike Hoffman

Mark Methot - Erik Karlsson
Carlo Colaiacovo - Shea Weber
Shane O'Brien - Chris Phillips

Depth: Eric Gryba, Mark Borowiecki, Mike Lundin, Andre Benoit

Craig Anderson
Ben Bishop

David Booth ($4.250m) / Stephen Weiss ($3.100m) / Kris Versteeg ($4.400m)
Ray Whitney / Jussi Jokinen ($3.000m) / Teddy Purcell ($2.362m)
Alexander Steen ($3.363m) / Marcel Goc ($1.700m) / Michael Ryder
Tomas Kopecky ($3.000m) / Shawn Matthias ($0.945m) / Scottie Upshall ($3.500m)

Brian Campbell ($7.143m) / Filip Kuba ($4.000m)
Dan Hamhuis ($4.500m) / Nikita Nikitin ($2.150m)
Keith Ballard ($4.200m) / Mike Weaver ($1.100m)
Matt Hunwick ($1.600m)

Pekka Rinne ($7.000m)
Scott Clemmensen ($1.200m)

Sens vs. Bruins
Sabres vs. Rags

Hawks vs. Blues
Sharks vs. Coyotes

Again...I really feel like Boston is a good team, but when you have the depth in scoring that Ottawa has (Spezza, Turris, O'Reilly, Alfredsson, Iginla, Michalek) and the best defence in the league (Weber, Methot, Karlsson, etc.) as well as hungry depth guys and the best goalie in the world right now (Anderson...and a capable back-up in Bishop) I don't see how they can lose.

The key to this battle will come down to the hotter goalie. (As much Playoffs do.) We feel that our tandem is one of the better in the league and can without any hesitation put whoever in and get amazing goaltending. On top of that the overall style that Phoenix plays is what makes them so deadly come playoff time. I mean there is only one other coach who can play a defensive style so perfectly and he is currently retired.

The fact I made it this far seeing how I only spending 58 million is amazing. That being said looking forward to the next match up.

PS: Vote and help Ryan Smyth and Shane Doan get one step closer to their Stanley Cup!
