I thought about taking him with my Columbus pick (61).. but figured I would get yelled at again for taking a dman. NOT WORTH IT.

Rational for Alex Forsberg

1. Good vision of the Ice
2. Great Play making skills
3. Offensive threat
4. Has a proven track record of getting points over the course of the last four years.
5. Good speed and pretty agile
6. Blues have enough depth with Centers to give him the time needed to develop and refine the tools he has.
7. Decent shot.
8. If I don't pick him now, I could miss him.

Poor rey72335, look what you guys did, now he is shell shocked when he goes to pick.

I almost took him at 41 for the wild, but decided they needed a winger more. I'm shocked he fell to me at 79th ,but I'll take him .

If I miss my pick, I'll be at a Kelowna and Victoria game doing some scouting reports.

With the 83rd pick in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, the Vancouver Canucks are pleased to select

Sven Andrighetto of the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies.

Possibly too early, but again, not worth the risk he gets taken before my next pick.

Makes me think of how Burke must have been feeling when he heard Schenn's name back in '09.

Biggest drop for a player: Well when compared to last draft the Biggest drop was Samuel Morin, who was taken 27 picks later then last time.

Biggest rise for a player:Ross Olsson, who was selected 64 picks sooner then last time.

Most surprising pick:
Ross Olsson

You can add Alex Forsberg to that biggest drop, you took him 107th last time making a difference of 27.
