Ross Olsson
^this due to the fact the Oilers desperately need some size and toughness up front and he does have some talent so i just couldn't wait anymore.

Actually, that would mean he moved up 27 sports. From 107 to 80.

He would be third in players who have moved up the most spots.
1. Ross Olsson 64
2.Zach Nastasiuk 30
3. Alex Forsberg 27

Don't worry, not questioning the pick just listing the differences between the two drafts. Couldn't afford to lose Alex Forsberg myself.

Please fill me in on this guy. I'm not that familiar with him but have been hearing his name a lot recently.

He's an overage draftee, having been completely off the radar during his draft year, but has recently stood out since coming to the Q and in his World Juniors performance. He was always very skilled, I think, but since coming over to North America(turning down a pretty nice contract fromm a Swiss team), he's worked on his strength and defensive game, making him a lot more appealing to eventually transition to the NHL.

Swiss forward. Played in this years World Juniors, and the team did very well. Bertaggia and Andrighetto were the two notable players. Both went undrafted last year. In 6 games, Andrighetto had 5 goals, and 3 assists for 8 points. Unranked by CSS.

He's bloody brilliant. For some reason he was passed over last year.... He's one of two who basically carried Switzerland through the WJC this past winter. He has elusive speed, great hands, amazing passing abilities, and is just so so smart.
His downfall is his size, which isn't even that bad (5'10" 180).. but he gets pushed around a bit, so it's more of a strength issue.
I'm not sure what else to really say.. he's just become a fan favourite and taken over the hearts of oh so many of us!

It's been over 3.5hours since the last pick.. but I swear it feels like it's been 12.
Where is everyone at??!! There's no NHL games being played, so that can't be the reason..... is everyone watching the Kamloops/Vancouver game?! I understand Vancouver is wearing nifty jerseys, but c'mon folks!!!

Vannieuwenhuizen......... wow, what a last name.

EDIT: Vannieuwenhuizen.......... wow, what a dirty hit. Slammed Lipon right into the boards down low.. Lipon got right back up and beat the **** out of a Vancouver player. Both are out of the game... Vannieuwenhuizen for the dirty hit, Lipon for the fight+instigating (6 minutes left, 7 minutes in penalties)..
