I'll be honest here, I really like ROR, but before I saw the "experts" saying they would take him at #2 in a redraft, I wouldn't have thought of puting him that high. I wouldn't have put him ahead of

Tavares
OEL
Hedman
Duchene
Kane
And maybe Schenn
And of course Schroeder

And again, I think ROR is great. There's just some potential superstars ahead of him on my list.

It seems like most people more or less agree. Most people have him ~5.

Here is a good article on ROR using stats to explain why he is so good, I know a lot of people don't watch a lot of the Western Conference so would be a good read.

I think he's #4-5 after Tavares, OEL, Duchene. Kane/Hedman/O'Reilly are about equal.

I have (okay, minor) no bitterness toward O'Reilly, and yeah, he was great last year... But putting him ahead of Duchene, who until last year was a lightyear ahead and is back on track this season, while there's grief between the two peers/friends/teammates on that sweetheart deal? I guess I know where Duchene's getting his fire from lately.

Yeah O'Reilly at #2 is a bit of a stretch. I'd put him behind OEL, Duchene, Hedman, and Kane in that order.

I see these lists and I honestly wonder...

WTF was Minnesota thinking by giving Chicago Leddy for Cam Barker?

If he's so good, i'm not saying he isn't, but why doesn't Colorado just pay him the money he's asking? It's absurd that it ever got to this point.

How can so many people think that ROR will have a better career than Evander Kane?

ROR makes the top 5 but number 2 is a stretch.

Damn good player, any team would be lucky to have this guy, especially come playoff time.

2nd overall is a lot for a guy who looks like he'll willfully sit out for a season.

So O'Reilly over Victor Hedman ? You're out of your mind.
