Hoping Burns is back by the MArch 23 game in St Paul. I'm driving down for that one.

A few funny tweets about the Oil trade to Toronto for Mike Brown:

@jessespector:
Do the Oilers know that waivers exist? Do they know that players like Mike Brown are available for free, like, every other day?

Kudos for the Leafs for not putting "LOL" in the Mike Brown trade press release.

Interesting: Jay Feaster just offer-sheeted the conditional 4th round pick the Leafs got in the Mike Brown trade

Best part is this 4th goes to a 3rd if Oil make the playoffs, like getting a dime a dozen goon is going to elevate your team. a 4th would easily land them Prosser/Falk which would help them win games.
Guess they want Seth Jones that bad

I'm sure Toronto was signing the trade papers while looking around to see if Ashton Kutcher was going to pop out...

Nashville claims Bobby Butler off waivers from New Jersey. Not a shocker, I figured he'd be claimed.

EDM traded a 4th for a goon.
Edit: way too late on this.

Who is this Risebrough you speak of? I have no knowledge of a Risebrough ever being associated with the Wild.

I can't wait until he has no excuse and HAS to skate on our home ice.
And I really hope we have Clutterbuck back by then. That's going to be quite entertaining.

Shanahan is once again being as consistent as a kid in a candy factory that is told to have one piece of candy.

Oh my, I can't believe you're bringing (again) the McLeod hit on Spurgeon in a suspension thread.

Yep. I just find Shanahan completely inconsistent. I hate to say it but Coyle should have gotten a game for his hit.

Well, Coyle did talk to him so that's a plus.

The Seto fine is looking more ridiculous though. Well, it was a good fine but yeah.
