Just like everything else that doesn't involve the Wild, I hope it's either extremely awesome or a complete failure.

After seeing his linemates, do you really think it's gonna be extremely awesome?

Burns getting moved to forward again! At least for the time being.

With great linemates such as, Scott Gomez and James Sheppard!
Coyle, Seto and a 1st for a 3rd liner.

FIFY:

Coyle, 3rd liner, and a 1st for a 3rd liner
3rd round pick for a 3rd liner
3rd liner for a 3rd liner

Burns back at forward? With Sheppard and Gomez? Wasn't to sure about the trade a few years ago but yeah I am pretty happy about it now.

I honestly can't think of a destination. I don't think they'd send him to Toronto. San Jose doesn't really have anything to offer. Not sure.

To Toronto for Gardiner + 1st could make sense, although Reimer and Scrivens are finally playing well and showing potential.

To Carolina in return for Ward + Faulk, maybe.

Edmonton for Yakupov or Eberle?

There are some suitors out there, for sure, but I don't think Buffalo's return will be all that great.

Why would Carolina do that? Ward > Miller IMO.

Ward has really struggled this year, and that was before he went down with injury. He's out for the season, IIRC, and Carolina will want someone they can count on in the playoffs.

It's not a likely deal, but something like that would not surprise me at all.

Nick Johnson placed on waivers today. Thought he was doing fairly well with the Yotes, guess they've got other plans though.

Johnson has to be claimed considering how great he was playing with PHX.

No way he goes unclaimed.

17 games played, four goals, two assists, and a +/- of +3 doesn't scream "must claim" to me, but who knows.

True. To be honest, I'm not sure I've seen a game of his that didn't include the Wild.

Love Nick Johnson for the Wild. Wouldn't mind having him back. Amazing 3rd/4th liner similiar to Mitchell in the fact that they just seem to have good shift after good shift and make good simple hockey plays.

Anyways...the awkward moment when you realize Crosby might lead the league in points this year with just his assist totals only. 35 assists already. Only 3 other players have more than 35 POINTS. WOW
