At this point, the NBC commentators have mentioned twice how Holtby overplays the shot and constantly throws himself out of position.
He's made some great saves tonight, no doubt. But he's also been bailed out by his defense multiple times after giving up a juicy rebound and leaving a wide-open net because he's completely out of the crease (and/or spun around). That's not something you can chalk up to youth or lack of NHL experience--it's fundamental stuff that you're supposed to have down before you make the NHL. It's going to cost him, and the team, if he can't improve his positioning and movement to an NHL level.
