I take it you missed Bieksa shoving Backes into Louongo? Be glad Backes was able to pull up. That could have been a lot worse for Luongo.

You should blame your player that pushed him into Lu, who may have embellished the contact

Blues need to play extra disciplined. Refs will be looking to call 2 minutes for being the Away team this period.

As a goalie, I second this.

It is not a penalty to pick up the goalies stick and give it to him. It is a penalty to pick up another players stick to give to him which is what EJ did

Schwartz was demoted to the 4th because Hitch does not like his defensive game. Until he gets better at defense he will see time on the 4th line. He definitely has the energy to play on the 4th line, he makes that line a lot better but moving Sobotka up hurts the Bergy line offensively more than moving Schwartz done helps the 4th line.

Yeah, just recently it has been bad.

I wasn't a fan of it either, but then again I didn't get to see a full reply, as some fans here have pointed out he might have been pushed.

But of course naturally I wasn't a fan of it.

I wouldn't count on it.

Sitting back and blowing leads has been a canucks specality this year. Already have blow 4 two goal leads.

AV never seems to get us ready to play, as you can see we had a great start but the Blues come back hard and we much better than us.

Yeah last game was a bit worse, but tonight hasn't been great. As a hole around the league it hasn't been good.

Kerry Fraser actually admitted in his TSN column that the NHL gives the Referees considerable leeway to call games for maximum entertainment value.

Anyways this game seems to have some fire after that Stewart/Raymond/Hamhuis ordeal. Hopefully the third is really entertaining.

I've got a feeling the third period is going to get nasty.

Doesn't look as bad as it did live. Still a dumb play Bieska. It's fortunate Backes was trying to pull up. That could have been ugly for Lu.

Hopefully no one gets injured. I still shiver just thinking about Karlsson's injury.

Yeah Luongo definitely flopped. Anybody who tries denying it...

3rd period should be exciting to watch.

All in good fun, though.
It is no where near as bad as last game when Calgary fans were here telling us how great there team is

Backes tries to avoid him, barely brushes him, and Lu flops like a fish

I'm worried about Stewie. Seems like he's really pissed the nucks off. I would like to see Reaves and Volpatti go though.

I was thinking the same thing. Vancouver's last game against Dallas three fights in a row right off the face off. I am surprised there has not been a fight yet. It looked like Reaves was talking to some one before the face off on his last shift

I figured somebody would try to fight Stewie after that whole thing with Raymond.
