I keep saying it, but Wheeler is so damn criminally underrated.
Only because he doesn't show up for the first quarter every year. At least Little is there year round. Of course, you're gonna have both on your team. Let's be glad we got a top 6 center that will play with such consistency.
1. Soft play on a sharp-angle shot that has no business going through him.
2. Flopping out of position leaving wide open net.
3. Soft rebound to opposition in scoring area.
The announcers were doing their best to be kind, but it was kind of hard not to see that the Jets had no hope with Pavs.
(* Monty should also have had the 4th goal, which killed any chance).
Still, I liked the battle by the team in the third period. They kept up the pressure and intensity. Buff had a pretty lousy game. I think he was probably still bagged from the "man's" practice. He didn't look like he had any legs at all.
God, I remember so vividly CBC saying how pavelec going down would hurt the jets as hes so important. I agree. God think of how many more losses we could have had with this guy to build our draft position.
