You're making a very foolish assumption here. Was Dougie Hamilton was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs?

Oh wait, you just come here to complain. Carry on, you petulant troll.

John Gibson has never been the property of the Toronto Maple Leafs, or any team but Anaheim for that matter.

39th pick was ours gave it away along with 30th, for inferior picks than players that were on the board after our two Busts.

I don't understand how he has never been banned. He contributes nothing productive to the discussion whatsoever.

So who has the best two prospects the Ducks with the 30th and 39th or the Leafs with 22 and 25. Think then answer.

Geez. The leafs should fire Morrison and hire you, captain hindsight.

Lets not waste any time waiting for half of those kids you mentioned to actually play in the nhl, let alone the ahl. That would be foolish. Lets call it now: freebird 1 - Leafs management 0. You really got em this time.

Maybe so I'm free theirs cost millions and still can't get it right year after year. You'd thing the Leafs were run by the Government.

Someone should fire the Kings scouts for drafting Brayden Schenn over Nazem Kadri, you know, because right now it's pretty lopsided.

Every team has passed on players they probably later regretted. Leafs are no exception. Leafs have found their own gems in later rounds when I'm sure teams were kicking themselves for passing on.

Ironically, as much as picking Biggs or Percy over a couple other prospects seems bad now (even though it's way to early to even say), a lot of teams are probably kicking themselves for not picking Josh Leivo, a 3rd round pick in 2011 as well. He's quite the prospect.

I'll agree with you that it was a stupid move, but I don't know why you feel the need to rehash it and call our prospects busts.

Seems borderline trolling.

You'll probably notice his lack of posting about the prospects doing great compared to other teams.

Definitely a troll, I'm sure he'll admit himself. Doing a fine job I guess. Just don't feed them.

He's completely off the mark on pretty much every topic he's posts in. Always trying to discover bad things about prospects or about the organization. Completely wrong about Kadri when he tried to bash him endlessly. He hasn't posted in the Marlies thread since they are playing very well. When they were struggling though, he was a top poster. Funny how that works.

You should regale us with the story of how the Leafs traded the 3rd overall pick in the 1991 draft used to pick Scott Neidermayer for Tom Kurvers next.

Or how about how we could have picked Giroux instead of Tlusty in 2006?

There are an infinite number of ways drafts could have gone better for the Leafs in the past. It does us no good to create fantasy worlds in which the Leafs made different decisions. Biggs and Percy are both quality prospects and I still have high hopes for both of them.

Come on now Burkie went ballistic at the draft when the Kings would't trade the 5th over all pick in that draft.

Ballistic? Seemed rather unfazed. Picked the guy he wanted at his spot, dismissed a team that wanted to move up and now he drafted a top 10 scorer in the league right now. But keep making excuses about how lucky he got. Seems rather infantile even for you.

What's that between your teeth? Is that some crow?

It's fine to criticize the Leafs for bad moves but you have to be objective about it.
