I think I'd speak for all Leafs fans in saying that we'd be ecstatic just to watch a playoff game in Toronto.

I'll go with 2nd round exit, after getting the monkey off our back and upsetting the Bruins

If their goaltending holds up they'll finally get back into the playoffs and probably lose in the first round unless they get the six seed and get to play the winner of the Southeast who they would have a shot against. Goaltending doesn't hold up they're outside of the playoffs once again. Either are likely scenarios, voted first round exit just because. If I were betting I would still probably bet miss playoffs.

Like spring of 2011.

But if upsets never happened the Presidents Trophy would be called the Stanley Cup.

Miss the playoffs.

At the most, round 1 exit. Goaltending is not ready.

I can see the first round in a shortened season and them missing on a good pick and sucking again next year.

I like their chances of making the playoffs but I can't see them lasting long with their personnel. For some reason, I think they'd match very well against a team like the Rangers so if they got them as opponents they could go further. But I'm not putting money on it.

I think this is the season the Leafs go back to the playoffs. The shortened season will not leave them enough time to screw it up as usual.

I think when talking about higher seed teams the Penguins are probably the best matchup for the Leafs. I'm not sure why either, there's nothing in particular about the team but the Leafs just seem to play their best hockey against them.

Miss the playoffs. Everything about that team is meh. The organization doesn't have a #1 C, #1 D, or a #1 goalie.

some of you need to watch games and realize this team is no longer soft. Now that they have a good coach ghey are on the rise.

I think Reimer is really good but he is always hurt. But yeah I dont care for the makeup of the team either. Im not sure what the team's identity is or what their strength is.

I'd say they are a marginal playoff team at best and a first round exit would be a good season. I've followed hockey too long to predict the Leafs as a sure thing to make the playoffs at the quarter pole of the season.

you don't know what our identity is? it's pretty clear we are a tough physical team that works hard and NEVER turns a fight down
