COL fan who posts here time-to-time.

I liked Blackhawkswincup's view on in. The bad calls even out and in the end at least it didn't cost the game/pts

I was very impressed with how Frolik started the game. I love the role he has embraced. I think his time in CHI is going to turn him into a legit top 6 player for a long time. Love his skill set, though he still gets knocked down a little too much.

I love the run you guys are on. It is good for all of hockey to have this story going.

Congrats on continuing the streak and good luck the rest of the way!

As long as Bolland paces for 1 pt for every 2 games I'm happy. He brings other assets to the table.

There'll be other options. Not completely sure of which guys are on expiring deals this year, I'm sure we'll start hearing names closer to the deadline.

I am a big Frolik fan ,, I dont think that will happen

He looks like he is changing his game with clear reality that he is offensively not getting it done these last 3 years. Turning into bottom 6 PK ace

The first PP unit looked really good, generated a lot of chances and got a goal today.

The 2nd unit is awful however, a lot of failed entries and turnovers. I think they should put Oduya on the point, move sharp to center, and maybe replace stalberg with bickell.

He doesn't get a point for it, but the only reason the Sharp goal happened is because Kane lifted the defenseman's stick which allowed the puck to go right to Sharp in the high slot.

Every game is not do or die on points. Coming together as a team and bonding is much more important. Good on Odoya, love it.

There's a time and a place. A minute left in a 1 goal lead is NOT the time to take a retaliation penalty 50 feet behind the play. It was a bonehead play by Oduya and he's lucky it didn't cost us the game.

!

Uh no.

What you see is what you get, a guy who has finally figured out a way to stay relevant in the NHL, as a high energy 4th liner and PKer.

Big difference between someone running the goalie and someone stumbling into the goalie and then falling on top of him...which is what happened today. In the latter its NOT ok to retaliate with a minute left in a 1 goal game.

I believe he means Jean Sebastian Giguere, who was a top notch goalie for almost a decade.

And then the Leafs made him drop off, then he picked up his play in Colorado again.

First time in awhile I'm agreeing with BWC, the calls even out. When it was all said and done, though, we came out on top, whether the beneficiary of the calls or not.

I know the Hawks won so we're all happy ... but ... I think there may be something wrong with Hossa. He's playing exceptoinal defense as he usually does but his offensive game is just off. It looks like his hand/eye coordination isn't right. He's flubbing passes and shanking shots like I've never seen him do. I hope I'm wrong and it's just an anomoly that disapears and he's back to his awesome self on the offensive side of his game shortly.

I agree. I hope he's not starting a rapid decline like Joe Thornton after his fast start.

Hossa got off to a great start.. but he has been fighting it for a few games now. I think he'll turn it around though.

Another strong game from Kruger. The more this season goes on the more impressed I am with him.

I would have had Toews take that faceoff with Kruger on his wing and then when Toews won and the Hawks sent it to the other end, I would have pulled Toews off and sent out Frolik. Pierre even asked why they didn't have two centers on the ice when Kruger got booted.
