Boston-Colorado

Per spectorshockey.net the Bruins are one team of whom could have interest in Ryan O'Reilly. I put a couple proposals together to see what everyone thinks about my ideas and do you yourself want o'reilly.
Just have an open mind.

To Boston:
Ryan O'Reilly

To Colorado:
Tyler Seguin

Boston gets a center with two years experience in the nhl who doesn't shy away from physicallity & goes in the corner to dig the puck out.

Colorado gets a Former Stanley cup champion and 30 goal scorer. I like seguin but he is begining to remind me of Phil kessel. Turn this into the big bad Bruins tMarchand is the exact player the Bruins and city of Boston strive to have pair of him and O'Reilly could be deadly together.

To Boston:
Ryan O'Reilly & Duncan Siemans

To Colorado:
Dave Krejci & Jordan Caron

Those are my two proposals. Let's see the feedback

Should be fun reading the reactions from Bruin fans about this proposal.. Especially concerning the Seguin for ROR one.

Avs say yes..

If Seguin is on the block, I would imagine several teams that would do better then Ryan O'Reilly.

You already have a more refined ROR in Bergeron. Why would you move out your highest offensive potential forward?

The second one, I turn down for the Avs.

Yeah I'm bruin fan I like seguin but last thing I want to see is a floater skating like kessel needs to dig deep in the corners and if avalanche should throw more in counter proposal it

Hahahaha.

You are not a Bruins fan, are you?

I won't talk about the first one. Just this. I think Chiarelli has one of the top 3-5 safest jobs in the NHL. But if he somehow wants to get fired and get a big severence check in order to start his new life on the Bahamas, this would be a great opportunity....

The second one I am on the fence. Siemens looks really good and Krejci is paid too much ( with Stastny (6.6 M) and Duchene (big contract in 2 years) and not really a shutdown #2 Center (atleast not on the Bruins). We would have to move Stastny as well and Duchene - Krejci down the middle is good but I would prefer a little bit more defense down the middle.

The first one favors Avs quite a bit and the second one favors Bruins quite a bit.

I think you need to go back to your proposal workshop and continue to adjust.

I'd hate to see what Avs would have to add for the first one to even pass the Bruin fans. Love the idea of getting Seguin though.

Wow That first one just may be the worst one ive ever seen. The second one looks almost doable compared to the first but a rather large no to both.

There is no way you are a BOS fan

Easy 'yes' from every Avs fan for the first proposal.

Colorado takes either deal. They have had enough with ROR and need to get the best value possible. Obviously the first trade is a no brainer. I dont see the Bruins parting with Seguin

I would argue that the Avs would say no to number 2 with Siemans in the package. Maybe Gaunce instead.

you seem to overvalue toughness and defense, "intangibles" in general, big time. What are we gonna do with RoR? Nice player but we have Krejci who's decent defensively and Bergy who just won the friggin' Selke on our top two lines, so RoR would be sort of redundant on this team. Especially when we give up our highest offensive potantial player to get him.

Also, if Seguin turns out like Kessel, we can be happy with it. Almost 40 goals and PPG is nothing to sneeze at, you know. Its certainly worth more than digging pucks out of corners. The bruins have toughness and team defense in spades, we can afford one soft defensive liability to adress what we lack, which is igh end scoring. And that's saying that Tyler is a liability, which I frankly don't agree with.

The second one.. I can see why avs fans don't like it, but still easy no from the Bruins. RoR would be redundant here as explained above and Seguin could fill our biggest need, I don't think Siemens makes up for that
