Anaheim: Chad Kilger, Oleg Tverdovsky, picks for Teemu Selanne, Marc Chouinard, picks (1996)

From here on out, do not consider subsequent trades as part of the trade being chosen.

Not the best, but it's pretty impressive that they got a future Art Ross winner and HoF'er for cash. Conacher didn't have the longevity of Hall, Savard or Chelios though.
Glenn Hall, easily. Won 2 of his 3 Vezina's as a Blackhawk and helped win them a Stanley Cup in '61. They also got Ted Lindsay in that deal and he went on to have 2 productive seasons in Chicago.
Glenn Hall and Ted Lindsay from Detroit for Hank Bassen, Forbes Kennedy, Bill Preston and Johnny Wilson is the best trade in Chicago Blackhawks history.
EDIT: My bad, didn't see the poll explaining the full trade.
Another tough one. Best trade for the franchise has to be Glenn Hall. But, value-wise, you can't beat getting to pick a future HOFer simply for agreeing not to do something (not doing something being the default position).
Hall, Chelios (went to a cup final as the rock on Chi-town's D whereas Savard didn't get there), Savard.
I can't believe all the votes for Patrick friggin' Sharp. Hall, Chelios, and Savard were Hall of Famers! Sharp is a 2nd liner, albeit a very good two-way forward. Friggin' youngsters. But even I'm too young to remember Hall, and the prime of Savard's career.
Voted for Alexander Karpovtsev for 4th (Niklas Hjalmarsson).
Nik Hjalmarsson is a good second pairing defender plus you got rid of Karpovtsev, which has to be worth two firsts.
YOU ARE A HAWKS FAN!!! ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!?!? HALL, CHELIOS, SAVARD?!?! Even Sharp! And you pick Hjalmarsson cuz he's a good 2nd pairing d-man?!
voted chelios b/c i missed the hall and lindsay trade.

vezina trophy at that time was for fewest GA, same as today's jennings trophy.
with chicago, hall was voted best goalie (1st team all star) 5 times ('58, '60, '63, '64, '66) and 2nd best goalie (2nd all star) 3 times ('61, '62, '67).
Hall, Chelios (went to a cup final as the rock on Chi-town's D whereas Savard didn't get there), Savard.

Sharp's a top-line goal-scoring winger. I'm not saying he should be winning this poll or should/shouldn't be ahead of any particular trade, but he was a very big part of the first Stanley Cup for Chicago in 49 years and they got him for a nothing player. Maybe not the best trade in Chicago Blackhawks history, but a very important one and worth a few votes.
