Why is Huberdeau on the wing for them? I thought they would groom him as a future #1C. Montreal seems to be playing Gally at C even though he's only 18.

since the 04-05 lockout we are 13-13-2 against the Panthers

Waive Komi.
I also don't think Jake is completely over his concussion and keeping him down on the Marlies, gives him the time to get over that injury and we do have 8 D, so even sitting two players for the rest of the year, will help not only him but until a place is available, maybe a trade for one, will give him the opportunity.

What happens when Frattin/Reimer are back, and eventually Lupul (posted this in the Gunnar thread) assuming we're healthy?

van Riemsdyk - Bozak - Kessel
Komarov - Grabovski - Kulemin
MacArthur - Kadri - Orr
McLaren - McClemment - Brown
X: Steckel

Phaneuf - Holzer
Liles - Kostka
Fraser - Franson
X: Komisarek, Gunnarsson

Coming back: Reimer, Frattin, Lupul.

Obviously Rynnas out when Reimer comes back, but you gotta think Steckel/MacArthur will be traded, or the AHL d-men get sent down which I wouldn't mind.

I just watched him in the marlies game this afternoon, he was the most dominant player in the game. He was playing fearless and was dangling around the Aero's like they were pylons. He is ready!

With the numbers situation, maybe Jake should stay down.

Just another NHLer, who we can't bring up.

In essence yes. He said he'd move a pick to fill a hole in our roster but he wouldn't trade a pile of young prospects in an effort to win now because we aren't at that stage. Pretty consistent with what he's said all along.

He's never said he won't trade veterans for youth/picks though.

Man I'm really nervous about this week for the Leafs .. Panthers tonight, Tampa tomorrow, Buffalo Thursday, and Sens on Saturday ... 4 teams that are struggling and that the Leafs should win all of them, but given the last handful of years I'm afraid they'll stumble on a good chance to gain valuable points in the standings.

Looks like Rynnas will get a start this week at some point

Size.

Hes doing awesome on wing. With Bjugstad coming up end of yr/next yr to center, the pieces fit.
