White is lucky to play tonight, if it was me, I would put Gally on the 4 lines as well ... :p

That game is... really watchable, really cohesive, and really boring.
Does that make sense?

Why do you say this? Don't you remember the Martin years? We have a forecheck, we aren't hanging around by the skin of our nuts this year - we're playing real hockey. It's awesome.

I wish we had the Armstrong of old but I don't get the hate for him at all.
He's been a very solid 4th liner who hasn't cashed in on his chances but creates a lot.
Totally fine with Armstrong.

Gionta and Armstrong are bad out there - for different reasons - Gio is just a blackhole of production and execution, Armstrong is afraid of getting hurt.
He's getting oddly one dimensional, like, although I'm loathe to say it, Gomez. Won't deke, can't pass, half slapper into the crest.
Definitely a different player from his best last year.

If you guys think the game is so boring, I have a great idea for you: close your tv and keep it for yourselves. It doesn't add anything to the content of any thread.

Subban looking real good. I'd like to see someone try and fight him that would be hilarious.

Odd remark : Did any of you noticed that Eller's best moment came from when he was on the LEFT side of the ice?

Complete sense!
We're playing real well but somehow it's inexplicably bland.
Good call.

Eller also looks good out there. He is really skating hard and causing the Canes some problems.

Okay. I want to ask.
Who in this board purchased the Budweiser Red Light for their home?

It's sad, but I think you might be right. Gionta has become totally useless in a 2 men forechecking system.

I thought about buying all thirty and installing them on the bedroom wall of my roommate one night, that way on saturdays his wall is glowing red for a solid three hours

I wanted to purchase it. But 150 for a light that goes on.. eh no.
50 bucks, I'd buy it though.
