Win today and we are 3 points from 7th in the conference. We are still in the mix and a small winning streak could do wonders here.
Amen....I don't get why people have so much hate, just watch the team and enjoy...IMO it's the best team we have had in the last 2-3 years. We're still in the mix watch and enjoy

I just don't understand why it's written in stone that Matt Mouslon has to take every shift he ever takes with Tavares. JT makes people around him better. Moulson has a nack for finding dirty areas, defelcting pucks and scoring ugly goals. Just once I'd like to see them split up. If Moulson is still able to find those areas to score some dirty goals away from JT that would really help with secondary scoring. Put Mouslon with Frans and Boyes and try JT with Bailey and Grabner. Instead of complaing about how there's nothing he can do as far as lineup changes maybe Cappy should actually try to shake things up rather then just moving a guy up or down a line. Just radically remake the lines and see if something comes of it. I don't care if Martin and Aucoin are taking some shifts with JT, just throw some s*** against the wall and see if it sticks. And instead of sitting Ullstrom in the press box how about sending that loafing, coddled, soft, has to play 18mins a night Okposo up there for a while. And unlike last season they don't need to sit him down and explain to him that he's going to sit out but dont worry, you'll be back soon. Let him come to the rink and see he's not playing and earn his way back at practice. It's a "Country Club" in there!

I think it might be that people have seen the potential in certain games and then its not there in the next game. The coach is lost. How can the team play good every night when he draws names out of a hat to see who is going to play and what the lines are. Find some lines that work and leave them alone.

I remember my mother telling me a story about Al Arbour pulling Billy Smith for one period in an important game in order to motivate the rest of the team.

I wonder if something similar would work. Sit Tavares for a period or even a game. Let the rest of the team know they have responsibility as well. Thoughts?

JT is the only one that is showing up every night. I would sit Okposo he is one of the assistants and would probably do better then sitting JT last thing you want to do is piss off JT and him demand a trade or something

I don't want to come off sounding mean, but how can you watch this team every night for the last 20 years and NOT have so much hate? We played 5 good periods following a 5 game losing streak and then followed it up with the worst shut out home loss in team history. And this is still one of the, if not the worst team in the NHL 5 on 5. It may not be all doom and gloom, but there's still a decent amount of both.

Would do harm than good I think... Would probably just piss JT off he's the only one out there producing on a nightly basis and the entire team knows that.

If they explained it to Tavares as to why he's sitting it might make sense. But you guys are probably right.

Man, I just want this team to succeed so badly. x_x.

Fire the coach, hire an NHL coach, problem solved.

Who do you have in mind? What NHL coach is going to accept a job for a team that has no intentions of making their roster better?

Ullstrom must have pissed off Cappy in the last week. First he's a scratch, then he gets no ice time for a couple games, and now he's a scratch again.

Or it's just the fact that he's not playing well. With the exception of the penalty shot against NJ, he's really been invisible since his hot start. Factor in his poor defensive read against Buffalo and also the sudden lack of finishing his checks and it's easy to see why he is sitting.

So shouldn't Okposo be sitting too?

I dont understand how Tavares deals with this. The head coach is a ****ing clueless, echl quality *********, our GM doesnt make trades, and our owner tries to circumvent NHl rules.

To say id have jumped ship by now is putting it lightly.

Isles will play good enough to win and tipi will blow it.

3 games under .500 coming right up. Its a good thing we arent getting killed out there.

The Sens are scoring at a 0.5 goals/game since our injuries. We broke a 134 minutes goal less streak, so we begin a new streak. Can't wait to see Tavares. He'll be the best player AINEC in tonight's game.
