CBJ and NYI

Tyutin and Niktin are no longer very good and pretty much one of them if not both, need to go. I see Grabner is on the 4th line for the Isles, CBJ could really use him as we are in desperate need of wingers. I don't usually make proposals so go easy on me .

To CBJ
Grabner
To NYI
Nikitin

I just don't see with the Islanders would trade Grabner for Nikitin. Seems to me that Columbus would have to add to get this done. Doesn't look to be enough from my perspective (and I imagine New York's)

Yea I can see that, but I wouldn't want to give up Tyutin. I'd add David Savard to Nikitin.

Good proposal. But, the isles need Grabner's speed imo and they are in talks to extend Streit's contract. If they do, the isles will have one top 4 spot open, at the end of this season with Vis leaving.

I'd rather see Snow address that need this summer. See who's available from teams looking to get under the cap and ufas.

Doesn't Nikitin play first pairing minutes?

More like top 4 in all situations.

The Isles will most likely wait till the end of the season to make any big moves. A lot of questions still need to be answered.

Rather give Nikitin some time to see if he can rebound. Obviously he hasn't had a great start, then again I haven't been that impressed by Tyutin either to start the season.

Grabner seems like a band-aid solution, at best.

This, really. It's not as though they're in the greatest of situations right now. And I frankly am not a Grabner fan.

Thanks, Howson, for cleaning up MacLean's toxic waste. Welcome, Kekalainen; let's get good things built!

Would love to get one of them on the Oilers, what would it take; are you guys interested in draft picks for them we have two 2nd round picks.

Agreed, no way Isles trade Grabner now in season. I don't think they trade him period either way, his speed is way too valuable.

He hasn't played fourth line all year . . . where did you get that?

The Isles say no way in heck.

No. Not unless those draft picks are in the first round, and even then that's not going to happen anytime soon.

And I swear to G-d Almighty if the next thing I see is a proposal involving Hemsky, Gagner, or MPS I will MAKE YOU REGRET IT.
