I've heard Rodeo Burger that opened up just awhile back is pretty good.
Gotta try it out sometime .

But for me i don't eat too many fancy burgers, so best i've had was the kobe stackers at Lux.

Oh and Fat Burger Southside is pree dece too.

If i'm in the mood for a decent burger i usually hit up Swiss Donair, since it's in the hood and all .

Gusto Burgers in St. Albert if it’s still around is an experience all its’ own. Run by a quirky eastern-Europeanish guy, it makes a burger so big you have to order ahead (45 min) just to get. And if you finish it in one sitting it’s free. At least it used to be that way, anybody been lately?

Iggy was a frequenter of this place when he was younger, lots of pics of him up on the walls.

Edit: Turns out it closed down. Crushing news.

Jack's drive in in spruce grove makes excellent burgers. Very simple not fancy and pretty big too, worth the trip.

Best Burgers in Edmonton by FAR

1. The Hat: Jasper Ave

Best tasting burgers and the atmosphere is very New York-ish. Very classy and the prices are reasonable.

2. Fat Burger: South Edmonton Common

Try the King Burger or the Double Fat Burger. You'll be so full afterwards.

3. Motoraunt: 66 Street 124 Ave

Try their "Monster Burger". It's $23.00 and it's 2lbs worth of beef. I dare you to finish that behemoth. Come hungry.

4. DLUX Burger Bar: 142 Street

Really solid burgers. They're really creative with their confections.

5. Moxies: Anywhere

I know this really doesn't belong here with Red Robins, Chilli's and other places make some really mean burgers. However, I am quite partial to Moxie's "Ultimate Burger". I always leave satisfied after eating that.

2. Garage
3. V&H in Lac La Biche (also known as Vomit and Heeve) but best mushroom burger I've had in a long time!

I made some tasty burgers last night! melted garlic butter on the patties before they go on the grill soo good i had to have 2... I also went for a extra long bike ride!

What are burgers made of usually? Do you always know what the quality and amount of fat is in it?

People are going to think that I am crazy, but the double double at the white spot/Triple O burger is very yummy as well!

It is HUGE. Bring a group of 4 and it should feed you all.

Fat Burger's milkshakes are AMAZING. Although I can never finish it because it's really sweet. Not a huge fan of their burgers.

Delux is good

The Whiskey Jack Burger (either beef or chicken) from Red Robins is one of the best burgers I've had.

I've heard good things of Fulton Burger Bar in the park, but have yet to taste it myself. Also, for those students out there, The Nest at NAIT has amazing burgers as well.

A little OT but I hope this thing doesn't come to Canada:

Isn't that disgusting? Fast food has sunk to a new low. Gross!

Yea, Fulton Burger is really good. It's pretty much the same as Fat Burger if I remember correctly.

I remember Fudruckkers being really good (there was a freshly slaughtered cow in the window when you walked right in).

:/

It saddens me to see how many commercialized American chains are in this thread, considering Alberta has the best beef on the planet.

The sad thing is, the best 'Alberta' burger is Peter's Drive In in Calgary.
