Hawks, kind of easily. A couple years ago it would have been closer.

You easily put at least one too many > between Toews and Getzlaf, but since you also put a < too many between Kane and Perry , it maybe just balances out.

Well, Koivu is being left out :/

Here's a stat from last year

The Hawks top four:
308 takeaways
115 giveaways

The Ducks top four:
134 takeaways
240 giveaways

I gotta go with the homer vote here.

You do know that "<" is the mathematical symbol for "less than" right? I only ask because you seem to think a guy who has had one great season is MUCH GREATER than this guy...

Kane has only had 1 great season. Perry's was better though.

I hate just using stats to prove a point because its so easy and obnoxious on HF but they really dont lie.

Kane: 414 Games Played 135 Goals 255 Assists 390 Points +31

Perry: 545 Games Played 208 Goals 231 Assists 439 Points +45

With the exception of Perry's one great year, he's been a good 1st line forward. With the exception of Kane's one bad year, where he had to play a new position for most of it, he's been exceptional.

I don´t really follow what you are saying here (and look up, I already stated that I don´t consider it a >> situation in Perry´s favor either), but if stats-wise (as your argument goes) Kane had only one bad season (assuming this was last one), then Kane´s other 21-25 goals, 70-73 point seasons are judged as good ones by you (not even arguing with this yet). But how then does Perry only have one good season? He has been as good or better than that outside his Hart season regularly.

Hawks. Toews is better than Getzlaf, Hossa is better than Selanne at this point in Teemu's career, Kane and Perry are close and I'd honestly give Kane the edge, and Sharp vs Ryan is close.

Kane has quickly become the most underrated top player on this site.

He's like hockey eye candy. He can make the most magnificent plays in incredibly tight spaces, he stick handles in close as effectively as few players in the game. Yet, he's not predictable which I think makes it hard on his linemates. He creates opportunities you wouldn't see coming. I would love to see how a tandem of Benn/Kane would be on the ice. Traditionally the best playmaker/sniper tandems are superior at finding open space, those two can tear up the game with no space.
