Reaves lays off a hit from behind on Wingels then drills someone in the corner. I love it!

Have Sharks fans started complaining about the ice yet? Or is that coming later?

No, it's probably "Blues are just trapping us to death with a 1 goal lead" right now.

I hate Milbury and normally can't stand to listen to his nonsense drivel, but I have to admit that line had me laughing my ass off.

Did any of you guys seriously expect the Blues to start the game flying? Lol.

But since then their play has improved as the game has gone on. I'm pleased, considering the conditions.

I am just loving the Sobotka-Berglund-Stewart line right now. Great cycling. Bergy and Stewie are off to a really good start this season which is huge for the team's success, and then Sobotka has just been awesome.

The McDonald line is going the opposite direction...

But man, the Sharks really are too slow of a team to compete. They need changes.

Chicago looks hungry tonight. They've had a ton of breakaways, and are crashing the net like crazy. Still, I'd rather they play their best hockey at the beginning of the year than at the end.

NHL on NBC:
If it isn't Pierre recognizing big-body presence in front of the net, it's Eddie O speaking to all you young hockey players out there...

I was just hoping to come out of the period tied. I wasn't expecting this

Being a Sharks or Flames fan is a dark place right now. Two old, overpaid rosters with middling to awful prospect pools.

Same here, but it seems to be getting better. Still shaky in our own end.
