I'm okay with it but no go from our cheap owner. Thomas is a freebie cap hit. Komisarek actually has to be paid.
On our side it looks, meh. But it gives us the opportunity to talk with Thomas. If he wants to spite the Bruins for some reason, the leafs would be the team to do it on.

I would give up Nick Schultz for Nino, which ain't gonna happen so lets discuss what the extra we gotta add, perhaps 2nd round draft pick and a prospect? by prospect i mean curtis hamilton or tyler pitlick. Would the Isles be interested in that trade? or perhaps Nick Schultz for Streit?

I think you would have to throw Mark Fistric into the mix, from the looks of things Peckham has come back to form. Didn't look to bad in his conditioning stint in the OKC.

I don't see them trading Fistric so soon after trading a 3rd to get him. Maybe at the deadline if they're way out of it (though I think they're probably interested in re-signing him), but Peckham seems to be the one on the outside looking in on the Oilers' blueline.

Isles and Pens have traded in the past and both teams seem to like each other's players if you look at waiver pick-ups, ufa signings, etc. Sure it's not that likely to happen, but it's happened before.
