Brayden Schenn or Sean Couturier

Everything taken into account besides teams needs, who would you rather have based on their play and potential?

I won't take that poll into account. Schenn was battling injuries at that time last year and this whole board was calling him a bust. Right now is a better time to gauge people's opinion while both are playing well.

I've like Schenn for quite some time, and seeing him develop has made him one of my favourites. Following a player since his draft will do that

Cotourier quite easiely. Schenn is thought of as highly as he is in large part because of the Staal effect*. Not saying he is not a very solid young player who may become a first line guy one day, but Cotourier is the more complete player

*The Staal Effect-being touted as better than you actually are due to name recognition.

Schenn has been the better player this year. He is really starting to flourish offensively. Schenn has shown a lot more confidence in carrying the puck and making plays. Obviously, his physical game is also way above Couturier.

That said, i still take Couturier. He just has more tools, and I am confident he will reach his potential. He has been inconsistent this season so far, but given his age, that is to be expected. In time, I just see Couts being a step ahead of Schenn.

As a Flyers fan, I'm obviously happy to have both. Those two, along with Giroux, Voracek, Read, Simmonds, and Laughton have us set up quite nicely at forward for the foreseeable future.

Couturier, though I like Schenn more. Just don't think he'll be as good.

Wow you got a lot of hate for the Rangers.

Marc, Jordan and Eric are all great players. The only one who fits that statement is Jared.
