Konstantin is having an OK season in Calgary. From what I've heard, sometimes he's been amazing, other times he had huge lapses and blew defensive assignments. It's part of the process, it's the learning curve. A few months ago he was living in a complete different world, he couldn't speak english. He still has a long way to go, but the kid has all the tools, and he's not afraid to play the body. A guy at the Flames board called him "a Valeri Bure type player who's not afraid to go in the corners". Well, I'd be happy if he'd become this kind of NHLer, a scorer who's not a liability on the ice when your team has not the puck. The Datsyuk comparison is a lot more attractive though...
