Quote:
Darcy Kuemper will be sent down obviously as Backstrom returns Saturday. Most likely, a forward will come back up for Kuemper. We will find out Saturday.

How about Fontaine, send down Coyle, bring up Larrson, sit Heatley.

If wild is about determination and work ethic then this wheel chair allstar needs to be SCRATCHED NOW!

Bring in either Larsson or fontaine to show them hard work pays off

Both skate better dont cause any harm and have a habit off chipping in goals

Mean while heater can take care off the popcorn chewing

Especially larsson could be dynamite on the 3 line you put 3 "woodpeckers" on one line to chew down the opposite teams offense and it's a beauty to watch

Larsson is a intelligent player that dont mind putting he's body on the line kind off an
epitome off an 3 line player with some touch for scoring point too

Would love to see Larsson play while Heater sits. Don't think Yeo has the stones though. You can be a borderline ECHL'er and if you "play the right way" get your ice time.

I wonder why Kuemper gets sent down and Hackett stays?

I don't know why you'd sit Heatley when Bouchard has been terrible.

Because you're trying to trade Butch for peanuts.

Why?

Heatley is not the issue on the third line. The dead weight on the 2nd line, who happens to be carrying the play most nights, is the cog that needs replacing.

I think Coyle's earned his spot. Can't see him getting sent down.

Coyle is fine. PMB is invisible. I wish Heatley was.

For me, Heatley is at the point in his career that he's a PP specialist, although even now he's been bad there as well. Butch can play better at even strength, although he's been very inconsistent. He should be a threat on the PP but hasn't been. Really, average top six forwards would be better than those two. I'd really like to see a forward with some speed instead of those two, like a Zucker or a similar type of player to Setoguchi.

I think they want Kuemper to play. Its obvious Backstrom is the starter now, so whoever else is up is gonna sit most games.

To me Heatley looks like a lost rookie. He can sometimes get to the right spots, but when he does he screws up somehow. He is also too damn slow. He should be benched for a while to see if he can get his game back.

I would love to see Larsson come up here. We could really use a player like him.

Sit Heatless.

Does anyone have any idea why Yeo seems to fear Heatley?

Heatley's play definitely speaks for itself...

Heatley seems to be that "square peg in a round hole" player right now. He's just not able to play in a 3rd line checking role, but there is no room for him in the Top 6 due to his lack of speed.

Ideally, Fletcher would be able to trade him to a playoff team out east who might be able to use him as a PP specialist. Easier said than done, however, because he has another year left on his deal.

I believe that either Larsson or Zucker would instantly upgrade that 3rd line.

Does the Wild have to wait until the season is over to buy him out? Or could they do that right now?

Heater should talk to Bruno. Seems like that kind of style would suit his speed. I think he'd be pretty dangerous if he played like that.

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAAAAAA

ps zucker sucks donkey as a third line checking role. Yeo trusts him not at all defensively.
