Riding on the sidewalk is illegal please, you act like your going to get in trouble for it haha okay. And how is riding on an illegal sidewalk much more dangerous than a street? Falling from the sidewalk onto the street is bad but so is being in a street then falling. Either way drivers are not paying attention to you, so I would rather just stay as far from half a ton of bone crushing metal as possible.

i got multiple fines for skateboarding on a sidewalk, if you can believe it.
and the street. can't win.

also, as someone who walks with dogs and children i'd much rather cyclists stay on the street.
MUCH rather.

there was this one time, in maple grove...

story involves a 95 pound foster German Shepherd, a heavy duty nylon strap flexy leash, and an asshat on a bike on the sidewalk.

asshat on the bike lost...

Sidewalk is for pedestrians

Road is for cars and bikes

I don't want to dodge bicycles walking down the sidewalk with my kid.

Where I ride home from work, if I take the sidewalk where it runs along only one side of the road, it goes against traffic. There's an offramp where people make right turns onto a divided road. They never, ever look right. They look left to see if cars are coming, and then floor it to the right. I have nearly been hit there many times.

And then everybody stops on the crosswalks at red lights. Now I'm forced into the road anyways, maybe against traffic. And great, it's a big vehicle that pulled up too far, so I can't see the cars on the other side of it and they can't see me when they pull up even farther to see around them.

The more you behave like other vehicles, the better off you are.

So lately I've been trying to put more and more things on tortillas to see what works.

Honestly, it's everything.

Last night I put Fish Sticks and Tater Tots in a tortilla along with some cheese and salsa AND IT WAS DELICIOUS

Today for lunch I did some more tater tots, some cheese, and some salsa and it was JUST AS DELICIOUS

In the past, I've had stew with potatoes, roast beef, green beans, carrots, and all that on a tortilla. It was awesome. I've had meatloaf on a tortilla. It was fantastic.

So in conclusion, put anything on a tortilla and it is awesome.

ummm...not to burst your bubble or anything but thats just essentially a sandwich with flattened bread. I didn't have any bread the other day so i rolled up saurkraut, thousand island, swiss, and corned beef and threw them in the toaster oven. was good. also roll up chili, fritos, cheese and black beans.

Well that certainly was entertaining, kind of reminded me of the Jason Statham movie Crank....... or any Jason Statham movie I guess.

They definitely picked the thumbnail image too.

One of my favorite things to eat is a tortilla with mozzarella cheeze + some kind of meat thing and whatever sauce is laying around.

I've put meatballs, pepperoni slices, summer sausage, hot dogs, microwaveable breakfast links, and whatever else in there. God damn delicious is what it is.

I hope this video is a lot more of what the preview picture is....

Anyhoo, home from the hospital. They took my polyps out, and apparently they were epic terrible.

The plan was to install a septal button in my nose to close up the septal perforation I've been dealing with for a while.

The doc says once he got all my polyps removed it was revealed that my septal perforation is more like a hole. A hole that is bigger than a golf ball.

Those polyps have literally obliterated my septum.

Thankfully the doc says there isnt any kind of nasal collapse. That would have sucked. He's going to discuss options with me at my recheck in a week. I have to was my nose out with salt water 4 times a day for the next month.

Also, he removed my adenoids. He saw they were huge so he made the decision. I like his thinking. Should help me sleep better, which is what i am going to do here after I eat some pudding. I am exhausted.

I posted this earlier this week and got no attention.

Not Rynryn posts it and gets multiple replies.

Technically not illegal (but in explicity signed areas) but there are so many regulations put in place to prevent it that it cannot possibly be done and i have seen the tickets written and i have seen ones trying it get knocked about.

There is no reason here for a bicyclist to ride on the sidewalks, bikes are so common and they are all over the roads. For the most part it is not a problem except when they have some long distance ride and there are thousands of them that go on and on and on, then your nerves are severly tested but those kinds of rides happen on back roads for the most part and not in the city itself.

Thats just one ferry, we have many more of those. Just wanted to give an idea what it was like here, now imagine all of them plus numerous other ferrys AND the ones who aren't on the ferrys.

Can't get the video to work and i don't see a way to delete this post soooo....yeah....going to bed now.
