I also really want the snow to melt off so I can go buy a pair of new sneakers and start jogging as Puhis also mentioned. Need to get myself healthy so I can skate better next winter.
Thanks.

Waiting for the snow melt, too. Come summer I'll start doing 12 mile bike exercises and keep doing my gym program. Feels good man.

Anyone ever going skiing in Aspen? Just hiked the bowl the other day. Killer skiing.

You know, my preferred sport is actually boxing, but stupid neighbors always complained about the noise when I trained home and I never seem to get myself to actually go to the gym.

So yeah, I guess jogging it is.

That's the way to do it. You've created new habits which are sustainable rather than making extreme changes which aren't. Congrats!

Quick, someone motivate me to write my Master's thesis! My eyes just start glazing over as soon as I open the Word file. It's physically impossible!

Can't I just spend life watching hockey, going to the gym and golfing? Is that too much to ask?

Got my 60-day notice yesterday, as they laid off nearly 600 of us. Think I'll have a beer for breakfast today.

Continuing the great web browser flip of 2013. Chrome has been just killing my memory/CPU today. Back to Firefox.

Also my computer decided to install IE10 which required me to uninstall it yesterday. Boo for automatic updates and lazy web developers.

Honest to God I had a dream that we traded Koivu for OEL. Some picks may have been involved but I was upset we traded our captain; especially since our first line has been on fire lately. Luckily it was just a dream.

I had one the other day where Lecavalier was traded to Montreal, St Louis was traded to Philadelphia, Couturier and Beaulieu(sp?) were traded to Tampa Bay.

And i was Tampa's GM. Some darn good moves, IMO.

I'd have never guessed that Steve Yzerman was a Wild fan.

So... Mom's visiting Russia tonight and tomorrow, and I'm doing the cooking. I have lived alone previously but I'm not exactly a good chef... But I'll try my hand at some rye bread burgers.

And yes, I'm gonna GDT it for your viewing pleasure.

So, the oven is warming up to 200C, I've already seasoned it and I've got rye bread and mayonnaise as well as the cheese ready.

The plan is to heat the meat at 200 for 20 minutes as the packaging says. I'm gonna add the cheese on top of it when there's 5 minutes to go. Not decided on whether I'm gonna simply toast the bread or put it in the oven, too.

Pictures coming when I find the ****ing USB cable. I've got a crappy camera phone, but it shall do.

Found the cable!

Pic 1: Ingredients - how it looks now. The orange stuff on top of the patties is the seasoning.

Okay, the patties have been in the oven for some 10 minutes and I've prepared the breads. Put some butter on both sides and added cheese for the bottom half. That mean's they're going to the oven soon as well.

Pic 2: The prepared rye breads

Pic 3: View of the oven with the patties heating up nicely

So, the patties are ready sooner than I expected and look delicious. Great aroma, too.

Gonna boil some water now in order to make some coffee to go with the burgers.
