Why would he? Carano was a gimmick. Carano wouldn't last 20 seconds in the octagon with Rousey. She was thoroughly exposed by Santos a few years ago. She's relatively slow and can't properly defend herself.

I think she's done for good.

As for the fight, meh. Still not appealing at all and came across as sloppy.

Carano wakes up next to Superman every morning, she probably can't be bothered right now.

Carano and Cyborg would be the obvious marquee matchups for Rousey; I doubt either of them could make weight at 135 without amputating something they'd miss.

And that's exactly why Dana wants her. Carano is arguably the 2nd biggest name in WMMA, despite not fighting in a few years.

As do I but I still expect to hear her name at least thrown around for possible matchups with Ronda. Doubt Gina ever comes back although would love to see her.

Maybe I'm a bad person, but I think many watched hoping for things to fly out of a poorly secured top.

I realize that's part of the selling point on the Rousey deal, but I'm more than a bit nervous that it will be just a side show that will fade.

I think the fight was relatively entertaining. I've always been a fan of the more wide open lighter divisions, but I just don't know how many fighters there really are to keep it going and sustained. Not to mention, the damage some of these fighters take is pretty hard to sustain the regimen guys are going through. Some of the male fighters look brutalized, and it's no better on the chicks.

Carano isn't coming back unless she can't get a movie contract, and she has 3 flicks lined up (and one in the can in Fast 6). There's not enough money in it for Dana to make it worth it.

eh I dont think this is accurate at all. Carano would probably be the third best womens mma fighter right now and who knows how good Santos is without artificial enhancement

Word is there's bite marks on Liz's arm. That would be illegal wouldn't it?

Ronda's saying her mouth piece was forced out so that's why there was teeth marks. Seems weird Big John wouldn't see that if there was a bite.

Lyoto is #1 contender, no matter what Gus does in April. Or so Dana says.

Chael brings constant pressure and the fight to the other guy. Machida dances, dances, dances some more before looking to counter or pull a Pearl Harbor. I don't find anything boring with wrestling or a fighter looking to confront another guy. Machida's style on the other hand... it's effective as hell, but it's a such a ***** way to fight.

Yeah she confirmed it during the presser but seemed like she knew it wasn't intentional.

Both Lawlor and Faber looked good. Couple of nice finishes.

There wasn't much going on in the co-main event but Hendo won it. Machida once again gets the decision after backpedaling and running away for the entire fight. It's a joke. Good job by the Anaheim crowd, he deserved to get his ass booed out of the building. Dana says he's the #1 contender after that pathetic performance?

Never been a fan of women's MMA but that wasn't a bad fight. Unlike her other fights, Rousey actually faced some adversity early and came back and won again. Definitely way better than the co-main event.

Also, **** Brendan Schaub. That's what I get for betting under 1.5 rounds.

And Chael's isn't? Takedown and pillowfists...rinse repeat. Hes finished how many fights? Where does he go once Jones destroys him in the first? Chael talks a big game though..i will give him that.

Dana and Hendo just had a long little chat as Robbie Lawler answered a question. Someone read lips and tell me what they said!
