Ville Nieminen question

Why did he always look like he was screaming or something?( I know he wasn't really) I thought I might have read that he had a breathing problem and it helped him in some way but I'm not sure. I just found it odd and kind of neat.

I'm sure it has been covered before but I was just curious.

He had really jagged teeth.

I always liked his facial expression, missed him when he left the Flames.

Villie Niemenen man he was a fantastic 3rd liner. Played the game hard, I dunno what happened towards the end of his career. I wish Colorado never let him go. He was able to play with more skilled guys like Reinprecht/Tanguay without being a deterrence.

His hard breathing looked more like a troll smile than anything else, suited his style.

He hasn't retired. Playing in SM-liiga this season. Still looks like he's screaming.

I'll put it to you this way. I saw the thread title and immediately thought, "That guy had the largest mouth I have ever seen on a human."

When I think of the 2004 postseason, Nieminem's grin is honestly the first thing that comes to mind. I'm dead serious too.

Wow, my favourite player at a time along with Magnus Arvedsson, I had a big poster of them.
Can't believe I find a thread about him. He is a type of a player which is easily forgetable. His mouth has helped him though

Ville Nieminen is playing propably the best hockey in his life, at least best hockey while in Europe. Also tutoring and helping ("coaching") the son of his own former tutor and linemate Alexander Barkov sr, Alexander Barkov junior, top prospect for the next entry draft. After his playing career is over, I expect him to be a coach or GM type figure, and will have a bright future in finnish hockey. Very articulate and easily gives the best interviews, at times he serves also a commentator for TV. He is fun to follow in twitter too As the poster above mentioned, his mouth has helped him... BIG TIME.

The villain! I really enjoyed his short stint with the Rangers. He was just the type of player they were lacking pre-lockout.

The dude has epic mouth! Someone should do a joint photoshop thread about O. Jokinen and V. Nieminen.

Ville Nieminen looked better than Jannik Hanssen in my eyes. He should be still be good for 3rd 4th line job in the NHL who brings alot into table at playoffs. Too bad that he is old. Definetly entertaining player to watch. Hope he gets an shot in the NHL for couple of years. Doubt it tho!

I started looking for threads about Nieminen after seeing this thread. First thread that came was this:

Here is the post #3 from that:

Just found it funny that you said the exact same thing three years ago.
