Mclaren acting tough by punching someone in the back of the head while he's falling to the ice. Then thinks he the champ
Hope some one puts him into next week.

On the plus side, it was nice to see Orr get dummied up

It was definitely a spirited game between the Laffs and Sens. Really wanted the Sens to beat them but it is quite amazing how well they are doing with an AHL roster and missing a ton of key players this season.

McLaren is a tough SOB. Don't even know how you can question that. The Leafs have, by far, the most fighting majors in the league. I'd love to have a guy like Frazer McLaren on this Jets team.

Leafs are playing great hockey at a time when they're usually in free fall mode. Perhaps this is the year where they finally make the playoffs. God knows the fans deserve it.

We have someone better. His name is Anthony Peluso.

God that is a devastating thing to have happen to you. Like or hate Sid, imagine getting hit with the puck like that. I wouldn't be surprised if he suffered another concussion as well.

Does that mean he'll miss the playoffs completely? What's the history of length on broken jaws injuries?

4-6 weeks minimum is my guess, and probably more as he won't be able to eat all solids perhaps, but who knows, not enough info given yet.

That's terrible.

Like him or not you can't deny he's the best player in hockey and the game is better when he is on the ice.

I think he loses the Art Ross but gets the Hart. Unless Kane closes the season really hot.

Blue Jackets in a playoff spot!

Got a soft spot in my heart for that team, lots of character players there, IMO, and I like the moves they have made this year.

I was so furious with the Caps game I shut it off....

How on earth did Philly win in OT? That can't be right!

(still Caps got a point. )

But the Caps dumped a key point late as well. You take it......no....you take it.

Smid signs 4 years for 3.5 each year. Would you guys give Hainsey something similar?

My biggest fear is the Hurricanes deal for a goaltender at the deadline. My guess would be Kipper, for a draft pick.

Kipper is not a long-term situation, but Ward is there. If they can get him, and get him to go, it seems like a good fit to me.

Canes may feel they are a tender and depth dman away from making the playoffs and 'doing some damage'. Peters wouldn't be the answer this year, and Ellis isn't Kipper.

Just worried Canes have invested a lot (Semin, J staal) in NOT missing the playoffs.

They re-upped Semin for 7 years and Jordan isn't leaving anytime soon. They still need to get a number 1 goalie, because Ward is getting up there and Ellis isn't a de facto starter.

Oh, geez. Nevermind about Cam Ward. I thought he was much older than he really is. >_>

Kipprusoff has already said he will not report if he is dealt.
