How do you feel about the NHL

I know a lot of folks said they would not watch or support the NHL because of this latest lockout. I know I havent missed a minute of Hockey since they got back on the ice, how is it in the various markets.

In Pittsburgh it's thriving, curious of others opinions

1. How is it at the arena?
2. How is it in area bars?
3. How is the water cooler talk?
4. Have you noticed a thawing of attitudes of people who said they wouldnt watch again but now are?

New Jersey is trying to make up for the lost games. Sold out 9 out of the first 10 homes games, 21 out of the last 22 dating back to the end of last season.

Good stuff for this franchise.

No one in Utah likes hockey. The very tiny minority of us that did, still do.

Outside of the atmosphere in the building as i am personally holding strong on my pledge and have not attended this year, imo items 2-4 on your list have never been stronger, it seems most have quickly forgiven the NHL with their wallets out...

I feel like the fans are more rabid than ever...at least in Anaheim. Same turnout to every game but everyone I talk to seems to know the game, the team and the players unlike years before where they were totally clueless.

Angry, but enthusiastic. Which is pretty much how hockey has always made me feel, lockout or no.

1)Explosive as ever. I'm very happy with how loud the Garden has been up in the 200-400 levels. Of course that doesn't translate to tv very well because only suits can afford the lower bowl seats, but that was a problem before the lockout.

2)Not really a bar guy, so I wouldn't know.

3)Lively as ever. Running into more Rangers fans than I used to actually.

4)Noone really had that attitude. Like I said in #3, the Rangers only seem more popular these days.

As rabid as always because we're actually a respectable hockey market.

The lock out just seems like a bad dream now.
