Feb 26, 7PM | Hurricanes @ Capitals

I'm feeling like a little bit of drinky-drinky tonight, and all of you are invited to join me as I take on the Tripp Tracy drinking game!

With only 2 bottles of liquor and a 6 pack, I don't think I have enough for an entire game.

Perhaps it should be noted that I intended the shots to be of beer, as that's what I'm drinking. I guess if you're having hard liquor, this might indeed get you very drunk if Tripp's in good form.

The 2-shot events are more common than the 1-shot events.

Gleason approves.

And you can basically have as many shots as you want, because Chantel is hot and wears glasses.

That sound you hear? It's my liver, in a fit of pique, jumping out of my abdominal cavity and throwing itself into a hot pan with some chopped onions.

Oh darn. And here I am just having restocked my wine rack last week and with 3 6-packs and a handful of bombers.

4 shots if Chantel during a between-period interview asks any player "Walk us through that play."

Is it just me or has Tripp been far less annoying so far this season? He has had his moments, but on a few occasions I can even recall him being insightful.

Any chance we see Pitkanen play this game? I have been hearing he may be back for the last 3 games.

I'll back you on the "less annoying" part, but can't get behind the insightful. Maybe I'm jaded, but I still find myself calling him Captain Obvious during just about every telecast...

Unlikely. Per Maniscalco Yesterday.

Per @JohnForslund a chance that the #Canes can see Tim Gleason back in the line-up. Joni Pitkanen still about a week away.

Forslund said on the radio yesterday that Pitkanen "must have had a relapse" and went from being the most likely to return to about a week away.

Ideally, I'd like to see one more game of Murphy, but a D of Faulk, Harrison, Murphy, Corvo, Sanguinetti, and Gragnani does not sound like it can slow down anyone.

I said insightful on a few occasions... I'm not trying to champion Tripp as a hockey yoda, just trying to give him a little props. I think he has improved a bit this season.

Tripp has been slightly better this year, but this is completely negated by how thoroughly meh Chantel has been.

Bring back Harwood, but they can still keep showing Chantel in those glasses all they want.

Wow. That might be the least solid group of NHL defensemen I've ever seen. If just a couple of those guys are off their game, it's quite conceivable that this group could go out there tonight and literally look like a minor league team.

I'll take Chantel "eye candy" McCabe over Bob "missing audio" Harwood anyday.

Maybe they can have Chantel do a lip-synch to a Harwood voice-over.

*imagines what I just described*

Yep, I just cost myself a night's sleep.
