Jakub vrana should be ahead of Anton karlsson. A point a game in the U-20 SuperElite as a 17 year old for Karlsson is great.. but Vrana did the same as a 16 year old and is now playing in SHL among men. Quite a bit more impressive..

There has to be progression in young players though. Vrana is inconsistent and lacks the all-around game that Karlsson brings.
Vrana may be in a higher league, but he's not getting the production or ice time to show much to scouts.

As for your mock, Jared McCann needs to be in the top 10. Good two-way player and one of the top offensive players too. He can really shoot.
I could even see him going top 5 by the end.

Yes I agree but there is a reason he's in the SHL... Unfortunately he's being played on the 4th line tho. Can't expect much from him there. If he was played on a higher line I think he'd be producing alright numbers. But yeah he is a bit inconsistent... Such a fast skater tho and amazzing hands
