Umm.. wasn't the point of trading JJ to send him to a contender?? Last time I checked, the Bucks were in the 8th spot and on a 2-game losing streak.. great.

And the worst part for me, JJ is my favorite player in the league... and since I was waiting until the deadline to see if he was moved before buying a jersey, I guess I have to buy a Bucks jersey..

So much talk leading up to the deadline and nothing big happened. Very surprised the Hawks didn't trade Smith.

Pleased that the Blazers now have a reliable back-up for Lillard. Now we just need a wing who can come off the bench and score off the dribble and a starting centre.

Wait until he signs somewhere.

Oh man, thank you so much for that!! For some reason, that thought never even occurred to me.

Maybe he'll go back to Orlando.. and this was all just an elaborate ploy to snag a few players from them!!

Glad to see Beno go to a place that may actually play him. He's a good pg with a good shot, just couldn't get on the court with Monta Ellis and Jennings.

Darnell Mayberry @DarnellMayberry
Thunder sending Knicks a future second-round pick for Brewer.

Sam Amick @sam_amick
The second-round pick that the Knicks will receive from Oklahoma City is for 2014 in the Ronnie Brewer deal.

My first impression was that dumping his salary was a major motivation for this deal. Not too sure on the financial goings-on of the Kings, but I can't think of any other reason they would dump T-Rob so quickly.

Pretty uneventful day overall.

Salary had an impact on the deal. Garcia is a veteran, who doesn't make a ton, but is now off the books.

Then comes the fact that I think the Kings don't believe Robinson will be anything more than a guy who makes the highlights for block and dunks, but isn't anything special outside of that. I think the Kings believe Patterson will be a more sure-thing on offense and defense, and that he'll be better able to play next to Cousins.

this trade deadline was awful lol nothing happened

I like that the C's picked up Crawford for basically nothing.. even though he's just another guard added to the roster

More ammunition for inevitable Chris Paul signing.
