Glad they survived the parade to the box. Hate the way they tanked their own 4 minute power play before that.
Jake saves the day and steals the very important point with the hatty.

Ah, what a refreshing dose of reality it was to read the Pens board. I will sleep well on my bed of tears tonight.

So...I missed the hit Cooke threw on Couturier. Was that accidental? Dirty?

I honestly thought they just collided, but Cooke was involved. He is sneaky dirty, not as sneaky dirty as Briere apparently, but still not sure till I see the replay again.

That was a charcter win... it wasn't pretty there were a lot of mistakes but if this team shows this sort of charcter and resiliency accompanied with the skill we all know they have, then in month we will be talking about winning the cup instead of the lottery. Will be very interesting to see how they follow up against Florida tomorrow. If they show no fatigue and bury the Panthers then I'm positive this team will claw way back in the standings.

It looked (though admittedly I only saw it at high speed, once) that Cooke did kind of hipcheck him, his torso was pretty parallel to the ice when the collision happened.

Surprised the Pittsburgh media gave that much cred to the Flyers in a close game. Surprised Malkin didn't get a star. Martin had 3 assists, but I'm sure at least two of them were secondary.

Just goes to show, some people just look at the stat sheet at the end of the game, including media.

It's a sucky feeling but it'll subside unless you allow it to foster. Don't do that.

Man the penalties caught up to the flyers but good character to battle back. Bryz has to work on how he protects the net down low on them jam plays. He's got to start fighting back on his crease.

RT @darenmillard: Jakub Voracek is the first Flyer with a hat trick in Pittsburgh against the Penguins since Bobby Clarke (Dec. 13th, 1980).

Regular season, obviously
