This game will make a nice change. Usually the opponent is bigger and faster than we are. Tonight, they'll just be faster.

Cheers,

Dan-o

Whoa.

The lines are way different...did they play these lines with Ottawa? I don't remember the second line being quite like that.

Not if you're rooting for Seth Jones in an Islander jersey

Isles will lose... I think I am done with them until Brooklyn but I'll probably watch the 3rd Period if its close. {MOD EDIT} Wang and Snow! Snow quoted "We can win with this team." Yup with waiver claims playing major minutes... Hey Snow pass me that kool-aid.

No offense, but I'd rather not hear any "Ole, Ole, Ole" tonight at the Bell Centre

Snow is a ****ing moron. He CAN'T believe the ******** he spewed in Newsday in that interview. Its the same interview over and over and over. Isles fans arent dumb. We know he is ************. As much as Snow is a moron, that ******** of an owner is even worse. **** both those guys. I will watch the game as I always do, but we all know the result already.

@StapeNewsday: Same lineup for #Isles as in Ottawa. Nabokov in goal.

Fun game to watch, a lot of talent on the ice, but many ups and downs and poor play, poor goaltending, poor officiating and ugly goals. Still, the Flyers have so much talent across all their lines AND a lot of potential from their young guys. The Pens have Geno/Sid and maybe 2-3 other really good players but the rest are worse than the Islanders.

Crosby is playing the worst hockey I've seen him play. He's getting points but he isn't competing anywhere close to what he was like before the injury. He seems really tentative out there. Still an incredible talent though.

But to your point, the overall level of play in NON-NYI hockey is far different.

Even COL-STL was a fast-paced, intense, 0-0 game until a beautiful OT winner by David Jones. Side note: PAP played pretty good yesterday too.

Man that Okposo is really earning that playing time!

Rather than Visa, the pregame show should be sponsored by Tums or Prozac, or both.

Truman makes great GDTs but he's no expert on lines.

Same lines as Tuesday means:

Moulson-Tavares-Boyes
Bailey-Nielsen-Aucoin
Grabner-Reasoner-Okposo
Martin-Cizikas-McDonald

Same line up this is bad of all teams you should dress some toughness this is it. Look at what Philly did to us pushed us around. We could do the same to the Habs. We lose tonight and i can see Cappy getting fired before he hits the post game interview

Doesnt matter what the lines are on paper as soon as we start losing Cappy will just start throwing guys out there. No wonder we cant get any chemistry between our lines they never play together for more then 5 mins a game

This is a terrific GDT! I'm lovin' the sarcasm! It's tough for you guys now, but the reality is that teams are way too even to dismiss anyone. My Habs are due to lose; wouldn't be surprised if it's tonight.

Good luck on the journey!
