Have to go with our top goalie prospect here. Mr. Sami Aittokallio

This one is really tough. For me it was between Bourke, Geertsen and Smith but I went with Bourke. The others were close as well.

Add Butcher

Is it bad to have no idea who any of these players are after Aittokallio?

Have to go with Geertsen again. Smith, Elliott and Sami would follow on my list (Elliott already selected).

Add the Boss.

Add Calvin Pickard, he is only our top G prospect...especially as it looks like his backup (or 1B) is going to be winning this round.

Why would you call Pickard our top G prospect?

And can you guys expand on why you voted the way you did? How else is bedsheetrubber going to learn who these guys are?

I don't know if you noticed, Sami is our top goalie prospect. Same age as Pickard, higher on the goalie depth chart and was the last goalie to be sent down to the minors after camp. He has the athleticism that will push him to the top. They may have shared the net in Lake Erie but so far Aittokallio is the one above Pickard on the depth chart.

Sami is probably going to win this one and the top 6 shook out pretty much how I had it on my list. After that it's extremely wide open IMO. Probably between Smith and Bourke for me. Bourke has the most talent and upside and did pretty well in his 15 game try out but I just love Smith's game. He wasn't treated like a rookie, he played big minutes all year in every situation and became part of the rotating 4th line all the young guys did at some point. He's a playmaker and given some actual talent to work with I think his numbers will get much better this year.

Really a toss up at this point, but went with Bourke. Just have a good feeling about him.

Tigre, how many players are you going to do? Top 10, 15 or 20?

Voted Aittokallio and I love me some Will Butcher, but I think Pickard should be the next one added.

I think I might go Troy Bourke next. Did well this past year. For 8 and 9 I feel like Wood, Butcher, and Geertsen should be in contention.

How would you separate those 3? All in different situations. Wood with the upside, Butcher with a very defined skillset, Geertsen closer to contributing. Will be interesting how those shake out.

Went with Wood because it sounds like he would be a lot more highly regarded if he had not been injured. Sounds like we got a steal at that pick.

Compared to:
Geertsen- Wood is bigger and produces a little more. Both seem to be in the same mold and have roughly the same ceiling.
Sami- really not sure if he will become anything more than a back up
Bourke- high ceiling, but Wood's is high as well, and Wood probably has a better chance at making it to the NHL as long as he does not continue to have injuries
Magyar- Wood probably has a higher ceiling. Top 4, potential top 2 vs 3rd liner, potential top 6
Smith- was not impressed in the game I saw. And with so many top guys out he had plenty of chances to show what he's got. Nothing of his stood out really, though he did show a quick little spin move, a la Duchene, but the rest of his skate, it was like he was just another player out on the ice. And at his size skating is something i expect to stand out. Not really ever expecting him to get into the league.

And what or who in the world is bedsheetrubber?
