Hes good at centre and enjoys it, would be more than adequate for the hawks 2nd line with hossa.

To Chi: Tanguay
To Cgy: Pirri + 4th

Just so everyone knows, Tanguay's got 3 years left, @ $3.5M per year, and has a modified NTC, so I assume he'd have to be willing to waive for a deal to occur.

Quick question - how is he defensively and in the face-off circle? I know he's now going to be a physical presence, but he'd be a great fit skill wise into the 2nd line center from a playmaking perspective.

From a value perspective - I think the Hawks would/should be all over that. I would assume that they could handle the cap implications, but they might have to send some short term $'s back depending on their situation.

Jeremy Morin + Conditional 2013 2nd round pick... Condition being if Chicago makes the SCF, it becomes a 2013 1st.

EDIT: Actually, considering the chance of them only getting a 2nd, the prospect should probably be a bit better than Morin..

He isn't good at C ,, He is a winger and only that

Putting him at C is pointless waste and he would be the worst guy at faceoffs on team

Not at all interested in Tanguay from a Hawks stand point.

Would rather have Iginla. Would fit with bolland or who ever centers the third line. The hawks really don't need a true C they need face off guy.

Wouldn't give anything for a player that admits he doesn't always work hard....

Pretty meh offer. If he was on the block we would probably get several better than that. Pass.

Change that 4th to a first. Tanguay still has lots of skill left in him and there's no way the flames are letting there leading scorer go for an offer like that .

He might be a nice WTH rental/flip for the Hawks. But the Hawks aren't going to give up much to address a strength. So this deal never gets off the ground.

Plus the hawks gave up their 2nd and 3rd picks for J'O, so I can't see Bowman giving up any more draft picks.
