No way. I'd hesitate to deal Couturier for Yakupov alone, let alone adding Hartnell as well. Flyers are getting reamed.

Flyers fans will not be happy. Prepare to get raked over the coals (deservedly so).

Do the Flyers do this for any other reason other than to help the Oilers?

Yakupov.

Scott Hartnell means so much to the Flyers, you have literally no chance of acquiring him without a large overpayment. There's nothing on the Oilers short of one of the big 4 or your 1st round draft pick (if it's in position to land Seth Jones) that could get Hartnell to Edmonton.

Hartnell would probably help Edmonton more than yakupov now. Except i assume yak will be playing hockey ten years after Hartnell retires.
