It doesn't surprise me at all.
IMO it's a good decision.

i'd be pissed if they didn't cancel. the thought of having washington have both ovechkin and crosby or the pens having fluery and crosby ticks me off.

I thought they were going to attempt some lottery based on the past few years should the CBA be signed. Oh well, the drama continues

There goes the Second Annual HF draft party with a possible BBQ. I guess a year from now we'll have to come up with a creative name like The second "if you have a draft, we'll have party" getogether and lawn bowling competiton.

I saw one article on the draft several months ago that said once the CBA is signed they will hold the entry draft. The article also mentioned the lottery for the draft order with the weakest teams having the best chance at the top spots.

I think you are correct. Even if they dont have a CBA until August(or later I suppose), they will probably hold the draft within a week or so via phone

If by lawn bowling you mean getting drunk and rolling around on the grass, then yeah, I'm game.

Granted the position you are in stinks but at least you can go to a draft. I dont think LA will ever get one.
