I'm sorry you don't like Vancouver because you're not able to get a decent job.

Clean up request on aisle 3, you better get going.

Seattle > Vancouver
Scenery wise I don't even think it's that close. Vancouver is among the most picturesque cities in the world.

Luckily my postal code still has more Tim Horton's. What about yours?
There just aren't as many Tim Hortons here as there are Starbucks. This is one place where you'll find Starbucks on opposite street corners. Tims is located in malls across the lower mainland, with the occasional standalone restaurant, but they aren't as common as Starbucks locations here. There are 40 places to buy Tims coffee in Burnaby and Vancouver alone, mostly restaurants but also a few gas stations. There are 40+ Starbucks locations in just the downtown Vancouver area, however, many of them located just a few blocks away from one another.

It's easier to find a Starbucks location than it is a Tims location despite the latter's popularity. Starbucks locations simply outnumber Tim Hortons locations to a fairly significant degree. Convenience is important to most people.

It seems that there are a lot that really hate Vancouver. In fact, the people who do hate it seem to hate it with a passion that I had no idea could even exist when pertaining towards a persons opinion toward a city.

This guys view on Vancouver is not only negative, it's downright bitter and nearly violent!

If Vancouver had a crappy NHL team, there would be less hate LOL.

However I bet if they lived here, they'd actually like the city especially if they like outdoorsy activities while having a city luxuries close by.

I hear BC bud would mellow him right out.

Coffee wise there seems to be tons of people I know that drink it. They also are all smokers. What an odd coincidence.

Also on topic. Vancouver? Doesn't suck. Can't argue with being able to ski by day and still be able to go swimming by night, and not have to deal with TSA people to do it.

As for Surrey, reminds me of a story an RCMP recruiter told the group I was in a few years ago, how out of Depot, you might have the choice of either Surrey, or up north as your first posting. He recommend up north.
