Looking forward to this month's schedule, we play 15 games and 6 of those are against real legit contenders in my opinion. I'm thinking to have a safe shot at making it into the playoffs we need to come out of March with 10 wins out of those 15 games!
Back to back games twice in March. Isles/Sens and Canes/Devils. We had 0 back to backs in February. 9 road games including 4 in a row and 5 out of 6 at one point (in a 10 day span). I'd be reasonably happy with 9 wins.
"I used to pray for good things . I used to ask the Hockey Gods for puck luck for the NYR .
Now all I want is Torts the smug stupid goatee clown to be fired , . I hate Torts . Please hockey gods make him get fired. Please Sean punch him in face" -- Dorado
Hopefully if everyone stays healthy and Torts plays Biron in one of the back to back games (like a normal coach would do) we should get at least 10 wins.
10+ wins would be ideal...but 9 would be ok too. Also, the key to the losses is losing in OT. You can lose every other game as long as you do it in OT or SO.

Schedule gets tougher as the month goes on IMO. Get a few Ws early on and go 9-5-1 at least and we should be fine. That's not asking too much of a team who supposedly has the best D in the conference, Hank in goal and Nash and Gabby up front.
Guess we can statistically say we are a little lucky (also considering travel) that we are only playing Eastern teams in this stump of a season
Need 18 points or a 9-6 record in March
To reach 2013 playoffs = minimum of 54 points
NYR now have 20 points
Left to reach POs 34 points needed in 29 games = 1,17 PPG
Record needed is therefore 17-12 in remaining regular season
Need to step up now
Really sad how we blew a really soft part of the schedule. If this team is any kind of contender, losing Nash shouldn't have made them become a garbage team.
