Honestly if McLeod and Bordy aren't going to get some energy going in this game they may as well sit. YOU HAVE 1 JOB!!!!!!!!

Are you guys serious? Is it not possible to not like how he is playing today?

3 goals on 7 shots.

I didn't realize the term "right now" means how I felt about him yesterday, and how I will feel about him tomorrow.

I think Landeskog with Stastny might turn out well. Seems like a good fit.

That gave me a good laugh in a good way.

Just know Avs fans, you always have a chance when Jake Muzzin is on the ice.

When you give goons so many minutes with regularity they think they're grinders instead and forget that they're goons.

Also, Doughty that inconsistent **** shouldn't be on Team Canada in 2014 but he'll get on.

We're not losing just because of Varlamov.

And BTW, he was the #1 reason the Avs won against the Blues by a big margin.

That play looked real dirty, nearly knee-to-knee. I think Mitchell was the one that avoided it and not so much Ellerby.

Avs PP is set up completely wrong. Parenteau and Duchene need to switch sides.

This must be the first time ever in NHL history a good goalie has had a bad game.

So I can't say that when Varlamov has let in 3 goals on 7 shots I don't really have confidence in him going forward in this game?

Christ, I didn't realize I insulted his career to date, as well as his potential of being a good goalie going forward.

Doesn't change the fact his original point is still dead accurate. Varlamov has been incredibly unreliable this game and hasn't done much to keep us in the game.

There should really be a way for the Avalanche to decline powerplays

Actually that was a really respectable play by Ellerby.

Right at the last second he tucked his knee in and tried to hit him with his butt and caught his foot.
