not sure if true or not, but if you're right or not, but I would hope you have some proof if you're going to make such a claim.
Huberdeau gets pretty soft minutes. Yakupov see's more middle of the road competition, with a lot tougher zone starts.

Here is a good usage chart that should give you an idea of how they are used.

And Hopkins had 20 games in hand over landeskog and still lost. The writers have their favorites and that's who they pick. That's just the way it is.

Gallagher takes the jump in rookie goals, ties for rookie points and leads all rookies with the best smile

I dunno man, Yakupov has an elite smile for a rookie.

Yakupov set an NHL record for most classless goal celebration with the least amount of career games played.

But doesn't Hub have 4 games played over Gallagher? Hub's PGG is still slightly higher, but the decision will be decided on the players' overall impact on their respective teams. This year's Calder race is tight as hell!!

Gallagher is a great young player and his play this year has definitely inspired his team but awarding him the calder would be like giving kadri the hart. Teams are just now starting to worry about him. Poor Huberdeau, gotta face the top D every single game. I wish the roles were reversed. Huberdeau on the Habs would be unreal. Props to Gallagher though. His sophmore season should be interesting.

Yea but if you look at the whole teams all but 3 players on Florida are below 50% and you look at Edmonton only 9 players are above 50%.

Looking at Edmonton they have no choice to put Yakupov in "less-sheltered" situations becuase majority of the faceoffs are in the defensive end. Looking at the team charts you see that they are both one of the most sheltered player on their respective teams. And looking at the quality of competition the difference is miniscule.

I think Saad, Huberdeau, Yakupov, Brodin, Conacher, and Gallagher all have the same chance of winning it, they all have been playing great.
