This makes sense. He's looked pretty good to me after that first game meltdown anyway.

They can't help it! They love us, they really love us.

But according to them, we're the obsessed ones. It's a bit confusing, but hilarious anyway.

Yeah, 5 words in an e-mail sent before the season starts and it becomes a crusade.

So they're coming to the game, what else is new?

I am getting a good laugh out of attempts to portray their injuries as anything significant.

Let's try using our objective hats for a second, Leaf fans.

Carlyle is talking out of his ass... their injuries are insignificant in comparison to what we're dealing with.

Well it's nice to hear you admit it.

This pretend "we don't care about you, you only care about us" thing has finallly been put to bed.

Leaf fans apparently care a great big deal about the Senators or this wouldn't have become such a big story.

Carlyle on Sens injuries: "We just haven't made as big a splash about our share of injuries I guess. Our media isn't allowed to do that."

LOL, probably because you'd be the laughing stock of the league if you tried to make a big deal about it.

What a joker.

It always amazes me how bent out of shape they get over everything. Like the ticket issue isn't even an issue - they can still come to the games - and yet they've been crying about it for two weeks.

Carlyle last week -"We have our fair share, but they've got an abnormal amount."

Carlyle today -"We just haven't made as big a splash about our share of injuries I guess. Our media isn't allowed to do that."

Well, apparently we're their Stanley Cup final.

It's kind of flattering, in a kind of pathetic kind of way.

The last Sens-Leafs game I went to live was a playoff game at the ACC where Hossa had that awesome breakaway diving goal. Damn I can't believe it's been that long ago.

It's one of the weakest line-ups we've put on the ice in years.

It's no wonder they're getting all cocky about their chances.

I'm not sure if I should laugh or be creeped out by how much Toronto fans and media are obsessed with us.

Does anyone know why our backup goaltender is getting the start? Lehner would get high off a game like this against the Leafs on HNIC.

Because our starter is injured and our third-stringer was just called up from Binghamton.

However yes, relative to Ottawa your injuries are trivial.
You can't argue that if you watched the games. Lupul in those 3 games had 2 goal posts, plus a waived off goal. He also set up Kessel on two prime opportunities, both off the post(Kessel is 2nd in the League 9 posts).

Damn he was on pace for a lot of posts and waived off goals this season.

Lupul is a good player, that's a fair point.

He's not close to Jason Spezza though.

It's painful to admit for Leaf fans but the Sens are massive underdogs and have no business winning hockey games right now.

A lot of it was due to Paul MacLean, and Craig Anderson, and now the odds are even slimmer with Andy on the shelf.

Good timing for the Leafs.
