Avs Fans
Took my 8 year old son to his first NHL game last night and I have to say Avs fans are by far the most classy I have ever been around.

Every fan around us was giving my son high fives and knuckles. They treated him like he was an adult fan which made his night (that and the Avs winning).

So, thank you to all of you that we're there last night. Made my son's first hockey game one of his best memories.

I love hearing this! I hate it when some moron ruins a game for the Dad/Son pair next to or behind them

He had a blast! He told me its the best time he's ever had. He also told me that Avs fans are the best because they were cool.

I'm glad you and your son had a good time, and I'm grateful people acted in a classy fashion. Not surprised mind you, but there are always a few bad apples in every bunch.

Lol I like the Avs except for when they're playing the Blackhawks, but switching I think my son will survive without me doing that, but because of how the fans are I will always root for them.

Honestly the only non classy people we ran into were a couple of half drunk Blackhawks fans who tried taking my son's puck that a NHL guy gave him when we were walking around the concourse and a drunk Wings fan who thought he needed to tell me and my son "F••k the Avs and Blackhawks they both suck", but both times Avs fans put them in their place
