Don't confuse Scott making Thornton loopy in a fight with overall team toughness.

We remain one of the softest teams, overall, in the league.
It's pretty clear what he's talking about when the context is whether or not Scott and McCormick are in the line-up.

Ill be at this one tonight, hoping for a win. It seems like we always lose to the isles (or put in a terrible effort like having a shot differential of -28, in last game's case), so I have a bad feeling. But here's to hoping for Rolston's first win

Grigs "could" be on the powerplay tonight, but it's not definite.

Disagree...the team is pretty tough physically. Mentally, on the other hand...

Is that Ott and Foligno? The quote makes me think he'll be playing with guys that can score, but who knows.
Other than the first line and Ennis there is no one on this team that scores. So I'm not sure why you think that comment precludes him from playing with Ott/Foligno

I predict a 4-1 win.

Stafford, Ennis, Vanek, Vanek.
Tavares.

The system is dead, long live the system.

*4-3 OT loss ensues*

Let's not forget the inverse possibility. Posters flipping out when we're down by 1 with a min left, and Hecht is playing, while 7 of the 9 forwards ahead of him are sitting.

Big win for the Caps today over NJ.

Sabres back to 15th in the East.

Hey, the only direction we can go is up, right?

Stay down. Please. MacKinnon is sooo talented.
Would make this season worth the suffering.

Knowing this team's luck, they'll stay in last place all season and lose the lottery drawing.

I believe so. Having Enroth start is the equivalent of having an empty net all game.

Oh no, they'll have to settle for Jones or Mackinnon

Probably. But 2nd pick still gets us one of Jones or MacKinnon; we just don't get to choose which one then.

Ironically, I was just watching a highlight tape of MacKinnon.

The kid does have some moves, no doubt.

4-0 to the Sabres.

4 goals by Myers. All assisted by Vanek.

If you're going to be wrong, do it in style

he will blow by defenders with that speed, he is the exact player this team need and should be #1 on the Sabres list, he will be a franchise foward no doubt in my mind.

I'm guessing he is, but you're going to have to finish dead last to get him IMO. Outside shot if you finish 2nd to last.

depends if a team like Jones enough to take him at #1, but if they Sabres finish with a top 3 pick I would like them to somehow get Nate whether that involves trading up or whatnot. I don't think it's unreasonable to suggest that a guy like Nurse could end up better than Jones, but I don't think any foward will be as good as Nate when it's all said and done(Drouin might put up more points).
